My page speed dropped after using your app. Do you have any effect on speed?

If you noticed that your speed dropped and you suspect this is connected to the SchemaPlus app, we recommend you turn off our app or even uninstall it and check if your page speed returns to normal.

We are confident that our app doesn’t affect page speed. In fact, the SchemaPlus app is very light and only ~29 kb. Our app provides a dynamic schema, and it takes place in an async load script. This means we have to obey Google standards for the loading time of web pages, and in order for us to provide the best schema, Google needs to be able to read live URLs with our schema code within a few seconds. Otherwise, it will be too slow for Google, and one couldn’t benefit from schema technology as a whole. For that matter, the SchemaPlus app doesn’t need speed optimization.

In the scenario where you already have speed optimization done on your site, our app's load can be delayed because of speed optimization. Our app is incompatible with most speed optimizations. In such cases, we recommend isolating our app from speed optimization and excluding it. Otherwise, the SchemaPlus app won’t work. We’re compatible with its speed optimizations.
